Title I

Currently there are two reading specialists and one math specialist at Fannett-Metal Elementary School.  Title I services are provided to children that could benefit from extra help in small group instruction.

During the afternoon in intervention/enrichment (I/E), we pull students who met the Title I requirements in small groups based on their assessments. The students who do not qualify for Title I Reading or Math, stay in the classroom with their teacher and work on whatever the classroom teacher plans for them.

Most students are seen every other day depending on the number of Title I students in that grade level or whether or not they also receive other services.  There are some students seen in a small group everyday.  This year I/E is 20 minutes for grades K-4  and 30 minutes for 5^th grade.
