Turkeys are tired of being eaten for Thanksgiving Day dinner.  Second graders want to save the turkeys!  They wrote a persuasive short story to try to convince you to eat something else besides turkey for Thanksgiving.  Save the turkeys!  Eat more pizza, cheeseburgers, lasagna…  Anything, but turkey!

To celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, Mrs. Cook’s and Mrs. Daniel’s kindergarteners used their kid writing skills to communicate how they think their family should cook a Thanksgiving turkey.
