Ashley August

I have lived around the Mercersburg area my entire life. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a BA in Early Childhood Education in May 2021. I have recently received my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, May 2005, and I am currently working towards my Master’s in Special Education.
Along with going back to school and teaching, I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Anthony. We have two daughters, Evelynn and Kylie, who both attend JBMS. We have 6 cats: Viper, Wrangler, Goose, Herman, Mochi, and Kernel. We also have some fish and snails.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing, and looking for shark teeth. If I’m not outside enjoying the weather, then you may find me jamming with my bass guitar or at a Hershey Bear’s hockey game! I love Marvel movies. Groot and Spiderman are my two favorite characters.
I look forward to a MARVEL-ous school year at Fannett Metal!
