Right Dog for the Job

During our Reading selection, “The Right Dog for the Job”, students learned about what it takes for a puppy to become a service dog as well as a guide dog. To further their education, students got the opportunity to meet an active service dog as well as one in training! Students had a firsthand experience in seeing what training techniques are involved in training a puppy to be a service dog. They also saw some examples of the everyday tasks a working service dog may have to do.
