Parent Workshop Opportunities
Throughout the year we will be sending home or emailing information about various workshop opportunities being offered by a variety of organizations, offering trainings/information sessions on parenting children will special educational needs.
These opportunities are not sponsored by Fannett-Metal SD and will either be virtual or at an off-campus location. We are simply sharing information with you, for you to decide what would be beneficial to you and your family.
Do not feel obligated to attend any of the sessions but do give thoughtful consideration to the topic as it relates to your family/student.

Among The Stars 2023 – here is a video link with more information!
Among the Stars! Among the Stars (ATS) is a community event that celebrates the unique abilities and gifts of people with special needs in a prom setting. At this event, we roll out the red carpet! Our guests enjoy dinner, dancing, games, limousine rides, and karaoke. We conclude the evening with a crowning ceremony where each special guest is crowned King or Queen of the prom. Please note this event is hosted by Gettysburg Foursquare Church with no affiliation to the IU.
