We have been very busy in the art room making all kinds of projects using a wide variety of materials. I believe it is very important to give the students the opportunity to learn about and experiment with as many different materials and styles of art as possible. Our youngest students have been enjoying making seasonally inspired artwork, while the older students have been focusing on looking a little more deeply into learning the who, what , where, when, why and how of types of art and creating their own pieces based on this information. Pictured below are some of the primary wing’s seasonal art pieces and a few working shots of 3rd graders creating some kaleidoscope drawings. We are grateful for the light boxes (bought with Art to Remember fundraiser money) to help make each section perfectly symmetrical!
