4th Grade Math Quilt Patches

Fourth grade has been working on geometry. They have been studying lines, rays, trapezoids, and much more! Each student designed a quilt patch to go along with the term they had chosen. Students worked very hard on their creative patch.

Fourth graders have been focusing on word choice and using vivid verbs and descriptive language during writing class. Students created stories about what they would do if they were trapped in a snow globe. Their creative writing pieces and snow globes are displayed in the intermediate hallways. Check them out!

All elementary students in grades 2-5 earning over 50 Accelerated Reader (AR) points during the first semester were honored with a special lunch on the stage. These students also had their photo taken inside the gigantic AR t-shirt. Check out the photos below.
